The Lost Puppy

Billy the puppy loved exploring the park. One sunny afternoon, he chased a blue butterfly deeper and deeper into the trees. He barked happily, but then he stopped. The butterfly was gone, and Billy didn't recognize the path anymore. He whimpered.

Suddenly, a wise old owl hooted from a branch. "Lost, little one?" the owl asked kindly.

Billy nodded. "I can't find my way back home!"

The owl hooted again. "Follow the sound of children laughing," he advised. "That's where you'll find the park entrance."

Billy thanked the owl and wagged his tail. He listened carefully and soon heard the joyful sounds of children playing. He followed the noise until he saw the familiar park entrance. He barked happily and ran home, relieved to see his family.
