Marie Curie

Marie Curie was a famous scientist known for her work on radioactivity. She was born in Poland but moved to France to study science. She discovered two new elements, polonium and radium, which helped in medical treatments. Marie Curie was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and she is the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different sciences. She worked very hard, but because of her exposure to radiation, she became sick later in life.
