My Favorite Thai Festival

Monday is the full moon day in November. In the evening, I will go with my family to a local temple to float our krathongs on a pond. I made my krathong at school from recycled paper. My parents will buy one made from banana leaves. I will light the candle and three incense sticks and then say a short prayer. I will ask the Goddess of Water for forgiveness. I will then float my krathong on the water. We will eat at the temple before going home. This is my favorite Thai festival.
